Iradya is the artistic name of a Chilean singer and songwriter. The name comes from the combination of irada (“will” in Arabic) and Soraya (“star”) and serves as a manifesto marking a new stage in her musical journey.

Her artistic vision is built around the concept of Mystic Blues Rock, an expression that draws its emotional intensity from the blues and its strength and attitude from rock. Her creative universe is dark, symbolic, and emotional, shaped by the tension between the visible and the invisible, the central concept of her debut EP, No hay luz sin oscuridad (2025), whose singles Narciso and Niña are available internationally on digital platforms.

During her time in Italy, she is developing her debut full-length album, Turista Migrante, through a creative process focused on songwriting and production. The album explores an identity in diaspora: a voice that belongs to different territories while, at the same time, never fully belonging to any one of them. On stage, she performs as a solo artist with backing tracks, using her voice and body as her primary narrative vehicles.

Alongside her artistic career, Iradya has developed a trajectory in cultural management and communication connected to the preservation and promotion of blues through a gender perspective. She founded and produced the first three editions of Festival Día del Blues Chile, held between 2023 and 2025, an independent initiative featuring simultaneous blues concerts by women in different cities across the country to commemorate International Blues Day and strengthen the visibility of women within the genre.

She is also the founder and director of Mujeres del Blues, an international platform dedicated to promoting, documenting, and preserving the memory of women in the history of blues, and the creator of the podcast El Blues es Femenino.

As an artist, cultural agen and journalist, Iradya brings these dimensions together within a single creative project, connecting music, identity, memory, and territory.
